Help Mrs. Rogers Recover from Sullivan Tornado
Donation protected
What is your favorite memory with Mrs. Rogers? I have a few.
I remember when I got my hair highlighted during my high school years, and a stylist who was a little green herself, made my hair green. I cried and cried during choir after a few people had pointed it out to me. Mrs. Rogers let me sit out during class, and made sure to periodically check on me, give me a pep talk, and assure me that I looked just fine.
I remember lying down on the floor in the choir room, and slowly moving my neck from left to right, following her guidance on how to do neck stretches. She wanted to make sure all of her students knew the importance of doing this after she had trouble with her neck, resulting in wearing a neckbrace for quite some time.
I remember Jamie and I seeing Mrs. Rogers in the mall a few years ago, and how Jamie and I cherished her ability to give us the warm fuzzies, just like she did during high school. Mrs. Rogers has always had a certain magic about her.
After all of the support she's given me, and likely to you too, now is our chance to support her. Mrs. Rogers lost her house, vehicle, cats, and neighbor in the tornado that hit Sullivan, Indiana last week. She's already been through so much, and it is now our job to wrap her in love, safety, and security.
Please donate what you can to help Mrs. Rogers. If we can show her even half the love she's shown us, I know we can take care of her!
