Help Mrs. Raglin Through This Difficult Time

Dear Forest Park Community,

With heavy hearts, we share the sudden passing of Mr. Jason Raglin on November 3, 2024. He leaves behind his loving wife, Alicia Raglin, and their young daughter.

Mrs. Raglin, the dedicated secretary at Garfield School, is a beloved part of our school community. She greets everyone with kindness, warmth, and a smile, always going above and beyond to support students, parents, and staff. Her tireless efforts make our school a special place.

Jason and Alicia were married for 12 years. Jason worked in Special Education for Chicago Public Schools, where he cared deeply for his students. Even after they graduated, he supported them—whether by providing bus cards for new jobs or groceries to help launch a baking business. His dedication touched countless lives.

Losing Jason unexpectedly is a devastating heartbreak for the Raglin family. It also comes with financial challenges now solely on Mrs. Raglin during this difficult time. As the Forest Park PTO, we want to come together to support her and her family just as she has always supported us.
