This is Mrs. Judy Billups, or as I call her, Grandma B. She's an 80yr old mother of 2, and grandmother of 3. She is a pillar of the community in Athens, GA, and truly the sweetest person in the world.

This July, she had a serious infection that resulted in an above-knee amputation. The procedure in early August was successful, and she is currently going through physical rehabilitation. My dad is her full-time caregiver and is taking off work to help at the hospital. Medicaid, of course, only covers so much, and there are now a lot of medical bills and new equipment that she'll need. We'd like to get her a suitable wheelchair, a wider bed, and a Hoyer lift to make her home more accessible for her limited mobility. Our family does not have the resources to get her everything she'll need, and we would appreciate the support from you all to help her through the recovery process.
