Help Mrs. Calvo's Class Get a Classroom Pet

Hello, I'm Mrs. Calvo, Harrisburg Adventist School's 3rd to 5th Grade teacher. As part of our curriculum, my students wrote letters to the principal about the possibility of our class having a classroom pet. The principal said yes! Our school board also said yes to our class raising classroom funds that will go toward the purchase of our chosen class pet.

My students did a lot of research into the perfect pet for our class. We even created a budget for our pet's needs, including environmental and dietary needs. As we obtain everything we need for our pet, I will post updates. Any additional funds will go towards our classroom funds. My students decided they would like to use additional classroom funds for art supplies as well as costs associated with volunteering in the community. Please help us reach our goal!
