Help Mrs. Botta ! Give Chris Hope!

Our mother Christine Botta is 1 month away from her 95th Birthday. The child of Italian immigrant parents she worked hard from her youth. When we were young children mom began working at Watson's Restaurant. She would work so hard, always with a smile, and bubbling enthusiasm. So many customers, and employees as well loved her, and Watson's became more like a family. Mom always gave a lot of love.

She lost our dad in 1998 at the age of 70, living alone, she continued to work full time at Boscov's. She would bake cakes, make soups, pizza, pepperoni bread, cinnamon buns, "you name it", and deliver to her friends. She was always doing for others. She would talk about Jesus with each person that came into her life, and always gave God glory. Ten years after dad passed, she survived a serious open heart surgery. She continued to work full time until 88 years of age.

Mom's life changed drastically in July of 2018 when she was diagnosed with Temporal arteritis, the treatment to save her sight had major side effects, and she could no longer live alone with 3 broken bones in her back, and memory loss. After 2 years of sharing time with each of her children in 3 different states, she went into a deep depression, and the Dr. recommended no more traveling, and to get her home. The past year, she had a caregiver for some time, but needed to go into assisted living over 3 months ago. Her savings has been depleted, and now she needs this personal care, but there is not enough from her fixed income to pay the cost. Mom needs help to continue to get this more in depth care that she now needs. She has been a blessing to so many over the years, and been a friend to even more. Now she needs immediate help to stay in this assistance home.
