Mrs. Thilaga and her husband are small-scale farmers from a remote village near the Tamil Nadu border. Their family survives on very minimal agricultural income, just enough to meet daily needs. They have no savings or financial support.

Both husband and wife worked in farming together to run the household. However, due to her ongoing cancer treatment, they are forced to stop farming completely, as they must travel frequently to hospitals in Chennai for treatment and follow-ups. This has resulted in zero income for the family.

She is currently under treatment at Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai. Doctors have advised a critical cancer injection costing approximately ₹2,00,000, which is essential to continue her treatment and improve her chances of survival.
