Help MrPeanutButter Get a Leg Brace

Kia Ora,

After a triumphant road to recovery our beloved sweet pean has started to decline, she’s been putting less and less weight on her front right leg which is adding extra stress to her left leg , as well as affecting the muscles in her back legs due to the increased wobbliness of her strut. She’s back on painkillers, and has been taking catrophen for her joints as well as laser therapy but these haven’t improved her use of that one foot of hers

We’ve tried various different braces and shoes but due to the *uniqueness* of her injured foot none of them fit correctly and often irritated her skin grafts meaning she couldn’t wear them for a decent period of time. A custom made brace was always on the cards for the future but I wasn’t planning on the future swinging by so soon

We linked up with a specialist from AnimalTech who confirmed a brace would be her best bet at being able to walk comfortably on her right leg , which will help her be able to stay fit and strong so she can live a big long life. She turns 7 this year so keeping her active is imperative for her health and i need to act quicksmart

The initial cost of the brace is about $4.5k and she’s already had a cast of her leg taken to get the ball rolling , and hopefully soon we can see her frolicking around pain free
