I recently saw a story on the news about an elderly man who continues to do DoorDash deliveries because his retirement income isn’t enough to live on. The story really stuck with me, especially after I met Mr. Wilson, an elderly DoorDash driver who delivered an order to Braden Bailey last week. It brought me to tears knowing that someone at his stage in life is still working so hard just to make ends meet. No one should have to worry about basic needs after a lifetime of hard work.
Our community may be small, but I believe we can come together to help Mr. Wilson. I was told his name is Mr. Wilson, but I’m hoping someone may know him or have a way to get in contact with him or his family. If you recognize him or have any information, please comment or message me. Even if you don’t, please consider sharing this post so we can help find him and see what we might be able to do as a community. Even something small could make a big difference.
The funds raised will go directly to Mr. Wilson to help him retire comfortably or, at the very least, reduce the number of deliveries he needs to make. Your support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or helping us connect with Mr. Wilson—could truly change his life. Thank you for caring and for being part of this effort to support a neighbor in need.
