Because of you, Mr Pickles spent his final moments, looking into his momma’s eyes.
Because of you, Mr Pickles spent his last few months without fear, delighted to have his little world back. He got to roam the house again and enjoy his backyard.

This is a fundraiser that Mr Pickles’ TikTok followers created.
Mr Pickles was rescued from a severely neglectful home. Mr Pickles had a multitude of problems from the abusive neglect he suffered.
His lower jaw was missing and he had to have surgeries to fix the rest of his mouth and sinuses.
He’s so resilient, he doesn’t mind any of it. Being toothless and jawless, he gets to eat dinner from Mommy’s hand.
Among other problems from neglect/abuse, one of his eyes was damaged. The other had a small cataract.
Even so, he had enough eyesight to enjoy his new life.
Mr Pickles is a trooper. A little patching up, true love and a year of trust building, he became a joyful little man.
Until he went blind. Mr Pickles is a loner. But he still slowly learning about affection and doesn’t know how to play.
But as his TikTok videos show, his favorite things to do are in the yard. He loves to drag his nose around hunting, run like the wind and tease his Mommy.
He’s so fast!!

can no longer enjoy any of these activities. Mr Pickles is now completely blind at a young age.
His DNA test showed he’s genetically only around eight years old.
He went 100% blind quickly, while Mommy was away in hospital.
During this time, Mr Pickles didn’t have the support of Mommy, nor the time to adjust to the dark world around him.
Now the yard he used to love to run and hunt in is a very scary place for him. In fact, except for Mo
mmy’s bed, he’s fearful of his entire world. Mr Pickles somehow is also silent. (His Mommy doesn’t even want to think about how). Being silent makes it hard for him to communicate about his strange new world.
All of these factors have sent Mr Pickles into a deep depression. He sleeps most the time and shows no interest in anything. He has to be carried or on his leash when he leaves the safety of Mom’s bed.
Mr Pickles’ Mommy is not a pet owner without the ability to pay for veterinary care.
However, Covid has struck financial tragedy on her family.
Furthermore, she’s had almost six digits of care for him already. He’s WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

How wonderful it would be if Mr Pickles could run and play in the yard. Mommy sure does miss his teasing.
