My name is Christy, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for Mr. Murphy my parents rescue dog, he’s a loving, gentle giant who has brought so much love, snuggles and comfort and craziness (of course) to my parents especially when they lost Max last month

As many know Murphy suffered serious leg injuries that requires urgent surgery to repair. Without it, he’ll be in constant pain and may lose the ability to walk properly. The vets have estimated the total cost — including surgery, recovery, and ultrasound therapy — to be around $15,000. He should be 95% back to himself. He is just a puppy and deserves a long life especially after the horrible life he started out with.

Murphy means the world to my parents. He’s been there through every tough time, always wagging his tail and offering comfort when they needed it most.

I know that there have been many offers to help with the cost of the surgeries from people so I thought we would try this to help lighten the load of the massive cost. I know times are tough for everyone, but even a small donation can make a huge difference. Every dollar goes directly toward Murphy’s surgery and recovery care.
