Help Mr. McEwen Give His Classroom a Makeover

I am the primary science teacher for fifty 5th grade students at a small, Wake County public school. My goal is to bring new energy and excitement for my students as they enter back into the classroom after a year of virtual learning. We have a diverse group of students who love learning and love one another. However, our building is 20+ years old and structurally doesn't resemble a school. My classroom is small, has no windows, and provides a challenging space to teach 10 and 11 year olds. I want to create a fun, engaging classroom environment by getting rid of desks and replacing them with mobile workbenches from Home Depot.
Having these new workbenches as science tables would transform my classroom and immediately bring engagement and excitement for my 5th graders. They would provide sturdy table tops for science experiments, they are easily adjustable from sitting to standing tables, and the wheels on the bottom make them very mobile. They are the definition of flexible seating. I have already spent much money updating other aspects of my classroom. These new tables would elevate my room to another level. While I have a great administration, they have their hands tied with money they're able to spend. I need your help to create an innovative learning environment that would help facilitate interactive learning.
