Help Mr. Marc Keep The Glazery Alive
Donation protected
The Glazery has been part of this community for over 20 years. Our customers have become very special to us. Mr. Marc is watching a fourth generation grow up since the store started. I don't know when the store became more than a business, but it has. I say this because so many people have expressed this to me. The problem has always been that I don't like to think of The Glazery as a business, and I've done a terrible job as a business owner. The Glazery has come to a crossroad. I have 2 choices: Try and sell as much as I can between now and the end of the year, hoping I can pay off all the debt I've accumulated, and then close the store. The other is to swallow my pride and admit that I need help and try to keep The Glazery going. As I've mentioned to many of you, I'm aware of things I could do to increase revenue, but implementing those changes would alter The Glazery. As I've always said, The Glazery will remain as The Glazery, or I will close it.
So I am taking the second choice. I am asking for your support in coming to the store to paint and possibly contributing to this GoFundMe so I can pay off my debts before they force the store to close. I understand that some people will lose respect for me and the store for going this route. I am not entirely comfortable doing it, but it seems my only option at this point.
Regardless of whether this works or not, it has truly been an honor to meet and watch so many of you grow up. I don't have the words to express how much you have all meant to me, Mickayla, and Daynah, though she is no longer with us. Saying thank you hardly seems enough, but thank you.
