Hello everyone,

I do not know where to begin. Last weekend, while everyone was happily celebrating July 4th with their beloved ones, our family lost a member due to a fatal hit-and-run traffic collision.

My father is a Vietnamese citizen. He went to the US to travel and to help me take care of my daughter, who was born last year. However, because of the Covid pandemic, he was stuck in the US since then. My dad has always wanted to return to his hometown, but his desire will never be accomplished due to the tragic accident on July 3rd.

While my dad was riding a bicycle around the neighborhood like usual, he was hit by a female driver. The driver drove forward and ran over my dad before fleeing. My dad was deceased at the scene. His death is still under investigation by the South Sac CSP. The driver who caused this fatal traffic collision still remained unknown. All the details of the accident are attached below.

Money raised is to help us bring our dad’s body back to Vietnam and let his soul rest in peace in his hometown. We need money to cover the airline shipment cost, US customs and regulations fee, and other funeral expenses. Everyone's contribution will be much appreciated! Thank you so much!
