Help Joshua, a Devoted Teacher, Follow His Dream to Baylor Law

Story:

Hi, my name is Joshua, and I’ve always had two deep passions: teaching and the law. I’ve been fortunate to live out one of those dreams as a teacher—guiding, supporting, and learning from every student who’s come through my classroom. Teaching has shaped who I am, and I’ll forever be grateful for the chance to impact young lives in such a direct and personal way.

Now, I’m ready to pursue the next chapter of my journey: becoming a lawyer.

I plan on attending Baylor Law School and focus on education law—to advocate for better policies, equity in schools, and stronger support systems for all types of students. I want to fight for better outcomes, especially for those who often get left behind because of circumstances outside their control. Whether it’s access to resources, special education needs, or systemic barriers, I want to be part of the solution.

Law school is a major financial commitment. I’m actively applying for scholarships and financial aid, but the reality is, I can’t do this alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to my community for help.
