Help Mr. Jones with End of Life Costs for his Dad

As many of you already know, Mr. Jones lost his father this week. His dad courageously battled cancer for the last two years and Mr. Jones was there to support and love him until his dying day.

As you can imagine, the grief that he is feeling is overwhelming. Unfortunately, Mr. Jones and his sweet family have also been left with an insurmountable financial burden.  His father was not financially prepared for the expenses that were incurred with his end of life care, family travel, and memorial/burial costs.

Teachers don't teach for the money, and we know this to be true for Mr. Jones. Teaching is a calling for this man. Mr. Jones has always gone above and beyond for his students and the Andrus community, and now it is our turn to pay it forward. Mr. Jones is head of his household, and on a teacher’s salary, the burden of these expenses, are simply overwhelming.

My heart hurts knowing, (at Christmas time especially) Mr. Jones is burdened with grief, unexpected expenses, and figuring out how to pay for all of it. My desire with doing this GoFundMe campaign, is that we can give back to a man who has always given more than is expected. I am hopeful that through our donations, we can help offset these expenses, and that there might even be a little left to help the Jones Family have a joyful Christmas. I pray that we can remove the stress of this financial burden so that Mr. Jones can grieve the loss of his father, celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and have the merriest Christmas with his amazing wife, Linda and his two terrific sons, Cation and Adarsh.
