Hello possible funders!

My name is Mr. E.M. (those of you who came here from my mom’s link, I’m the older one you see!), and I’m a 4th year high school English teacher about to start the school year with a fresh batch of new students who all need things like: an electric pencil sharpener, warm lighting so the overheads don’t burn their retinas out, a *district-approved* power strip when they inevitably forget to charge their Chromebook, and so so so much more.

The problem? Fourth year teaching, still a first year on the pay scale. I am OUTTA cash to spend on my classroom. So for you lovely lovely humans, for the price of an overpriced coffee, ($10 max please) you too can positively make a difference in a child’s life that will most likely forget I assigned a test within the first month of school.

To be 100% candid, this would mean the world to a whole bunch of people, not just me. I’ve given all of myself to this profession for the last half decade or so of my life and I can visually see how much of a difference creating a safe space is for these kids. So please if you’ve made it this far consider giving the price of an overpriced coffee so I can give these kids the space they deserve this year and for years in the future.
