Please Help Mr. Culp with Medical and Travel Expenses

On October 19, Mr. Culp took himself to the clinic for ongoing stomach pain. They ran bloodwork and came back he was in Stage 5 Kidney Failure with no understanding of why. He was immediately admitted to the hospital where we began the journey of trying to figure out what was wrong. After 5 days in the hospital and no answers, doctors referred him to a Renal Specialist in Medford. They scheduled him for a kidney biopsy and intensive blood panels to figure it out. After 3.5 weeks of waiting and watching his health continue to decline, we discovered he has a very rare and aggressive auto immune disease called ANCA Vasculitis. It is so rare doctors told him he is 1 in 700 people that have it.
Asante admitted Mr. Culp immediately to start a very rigorous and expensive treatment. He has to undergo 7 plasma exchanges (all in Medford, 90 min from home) in a two week period and numerous infusions to get control of this very aggressive disease. Because of the rigors treatments, he has had to step away from his coaching and teaching duties at this time.
Mr. Culp has poured his time and love into so many people over his 35 year career as a teacher and coach in Northern California and Oregon.
Mr. Culp has redefined the Mazama Football program for the better and impacted our sons in the most meaningful ways. We Mazama Mommas have decided to start this GoFundMe to help Mr. Culp and his wife with medical bills, hotel, and gas expenses. He and his wife have had to stay in hotels when as the road conditions have been too bad for traveling. We know Coach Culp and his family will forever be grateful for anything you can spare at this time. 100% of these funds will go to Orlyn Culp for medical and travel expenses the middle of December to give us time to reach as many people as possible.
