Hello, My name is Beth Kenworthy, and I’m fundraising on behalf of our beloved, Mr. Chili.

Mr. Chili is a staple of the High Tech Elementary School in Point Loma, California. He has been working almost everyday since I’ve known him (3 years), unless he has a medical emergency.

Mr. Chili represents his New Orleans culture, bringing a loving, friendly hospitality to the corner of Cushing and Farragut Rd, as he navigates our families to and from all of the HTH schools. Everyone knows him and loves him. He creates jingles for kids in his downtime, and makes music for local business commercials, among other things. This warm and loving man is an asset to our community.

As most of you have noticed, Chili has been absent of his duties for a few weeks, as he was brutally and unconsciously beaten by a family member of an acquaintance. This beating put him in the hospital for several days and he had to have over $100,000 worth of surgery to restore his face and teeth, and could use a bit of help with medical bills.
