Help Mr. Catsby Get the Medical Care He Needs

Hello Friends,

This is my beloved best friend, the great Mr. Catsby, lover of snacks, his feather toy, naps in the sun, and quality cuddles. He came into my life when I needed him the most- He has helped me navigate sobriety and PTSD. We have been best friends since 2018, and I love him with my whole heart. This little guy has changed my life, has given me life, and is my world. He is 14 years old but still as spry as a kitten on some days. Mr. Catsby sustained an L7 Disc compression injury, and we have also discovered a heart issue, which has not been fully diagnosed yet, but he has an enlarged heart, gallop heartbeat, and a heart murmur. We have had to incur over $1000 these last few days with multiple vet and specialist visits. This unexpected life event has presented a significant challenge. As a single person, I live pretty much paycheck to paycheck- With Mr. Catsby's mounting medical costs, friends suggested that I create a Go Fund Me- I am not one to ask for help very often. But this help is not for me, this help if for my sweet little buddy who needs it. And I will do anything to try to get him the help that he needs. Our cardiology appointment is Tuesday, May 2nd, 2025- they have to do a full cardio workup up including an echocardiogram. This appointment will probably be around $1000 (rough estimate). Aside from this, Mr. Catsby will also require ongoing care for his disc injury. I have set a goal of $2000 for Mr. Catsby's care fund. If would like to help us out, we would be very grateful.
