The Story:
Meet Mr. Bean and his friends. Many of you in Batley followed the rescue of this lovely fellow and his friends from Wilton Park recently. While they are now safe with us at Wonkysquackshack, their journey to recovery is just beginning.
These beautiful ducks were in urgent need of help, and like many of our rescues, there medical and rehabilitation costs are mounting. We’ve set up this page because so many of you reached out asking how you could support their recovery directly.
How your donation helps :
- Urgent Vet Fees: Covering the cost of initial examinations, specialized treatments, and any necessary medications.
- Rehabilitation Care: Providing the high-quality waterfowl nutrition and supplements they need to get their strength back.
- Daily Essentials: Fresh bedding and a safe, clean environment while they recover from their ordeal.
Any funds raised beyond these ducks immediate medical bills will go into our general rescue fund to help the next duck that comes through our doors.
We are a small, voluntary team (with our CIC application currently in progress), so 100% of your donation goes directly to the birds. Thank you for being part of the rescue story and for looking out for Batley’s wildlife!
