Help Mpepo Students Learn Safe and Healthy❤️

Hello, my name is David Mapalo and I am fundraising for Mpepo Primary School. The school is located in Kanchibiya District, Muchinga province of Zambia. The school has a total enrollment of 1300 pupils and 12 teachers. Its from Pre-School to 9th grade. About 80% of the students are vulnerable which makes it difficult for them to complete school. These 6-15 year old children have to endure some harsh conditions that can be fixed with your help. For example, there are 11 classrooms on campus and out of the 11 classrooms, 0 of them have completed window installations. (During the rain season the children freeze and get soaked during class). They only have 1 manual water well for 1300 students plus teachers, they need at least two electrical water wells (solar powered). Classes only have 75 desks (some are in awful condition) for 1300 students, do the math some of the classrooms don’t even have desks… They have a shortage of books and the kids have to share (4-5 students per one book). One book is only 3$, uniforms are only 5$ and 500 kids are without them and some of the ones that have them are in bad condition with rips and holes. Their restrooms (if can you can even call it that) have no toilets (just a hole in the ground) or toilet paper. In the girls and boys restroom (only 6 holes for 1300 kids, the smell is atrocious and it’s unclean, very unsafe for children). They have no sink to wash their hands after they use the restroom. These students don’t even have trash cans which they’ve dug holes in the ground to throw away papers… Their white boards are falling apart and need to be replaced. Most of these kids don’t even have note books or pencils, they have to try and memorize what they learned and hope to remember for when they do get a piece of paper. Half of these kids don’t have backpacks. Personally seeing this just broke my heart because these kids are so bright, respectful, and desperate to learn. I know I might not be able to raise up enough money to reach the goal but I’m going to make it a mission to try my hardest to help these kids with whatever money does end up being raised. I will start this thing off and donate 100$. If you could even donate 3$ that’s a book for a student, 5$ is a new uniform for a student. If you feel touched by this I encourage you to help.
