Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out during an unimaginably difficult time for our family. My sweet niece, Moyra, was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, EEF1A2, causing developmental and epileptic encephalopathy. Despite the challenges, Moyra has shown incredible strength and resilience. Time and time again, she has defied the odds and amazed us all with her courage.

Moyra is now two years old, and while we had hoped for more time, her journey has taken a turn. Recently, we brought Moyra home on hospice care so she could be surrounded by love and comfort. However, in the last few days, her condition has rapidly progressed, and we are now uncertain of how much time we have left with our precious girl.

Over the past two years, we have held multiple fundraisers to support Moyra’s ongoing therapies and to purchase equipment that made her life a little easier. Your generosity has meant the world to us, and we are forever grateful.

Now, as we focus on cherishing every moment we have left with Moyra, we are asking for your help once again. Her parents are not working during this time so they can be fully present with their daughter. Unfortunately, parental leave is unpaid, and the financial burden of Moyra's care, along with the regular bills, is weighing heavily on them.

We want to lift this burden from their shoulders so they can focus entirely on Moyra without worrying about the future. Your donations will help cover the costs of living, medical expenses, and give them the peace of mind to take the time they need to grieve and heal when that moment comes.
