Moying's Fight Against Cancer

Anyone that has the pleasure of knowing Moying, knows the brightness and joy that she brings to all of those around her. She is as hardworking as she is kind, and has managed to touch the lives of all of the families and children she works with, as well as her co-workers and friends. It’s heartbreaking to realize that sometimes the best people in life, have to go down the hardest paths. As many of you know, Moying is battling cancer and has had to undergo intense chemo treatments, take many weeks off of work, and is facing the reality of surgery and further procedures. She proves time and time again how resilient and strong she is, as she continues to work, sometimes even the same day as receiving chemo, and attend grad school on top of it all. No matter how strong, all of this takes a toll in so many ways, and this is a very difficult period. Please keep Mo in your thoughts and prayers, and if you feel you can,  any amount that you offer will be so appreciated. This will all go to help Mo with both little and big things including medical treatments, elective procedures, self-care, and to help supplement the income that has been lost for her. Even if a monetary donation is not possible right now, please consider reaching out to her just to say "hi" or offer support in some way.

I have always looked up to Mo, but it is during this time that I have come to see just how strong and resilient one person can be. She is my hero in many ways and has been a model of grace and determination, even on days when I’m sure, the burden has felt unbelievable. I know that this will just be one phase of life that hopefully can be over soon, and Moying will continue inspiring us all.
