HELP MOAYAD FEED HIS HUNGRY BABIES IN GAZA

Moayad Yousif Sheda Darweesh is a young father, 26 years old. His polite wife Dalia is a young mother of 23 years old. His beautiful baby girl Hala is just two years old, and his sweet newborn son was born on 6 July this year. His name is Karim. 

Moayads family and all of his siblings, apart from one brother and sister were killed in a bombing in January 2024 which also destroyed his family home. Their remains were never found to be laid to rest. 

Moayad and his young family have been struggling immensely to survive, desperately due to

-starvation

- displacement

- extreme fear due to constant

   explosions

- extreme heat in summer( which is 

   usually 40C degrees plus/100 F)

- extreme cold in winter 

   with freezing conditions  

MOAYADS MESSAGE TO YOU

To my dear brothers and sisters in humanity. 

I never imagined that I would have to write these words, but today I am writing with a heart full of pain, in the hope that somewhere, someone with a kind heart will hear me. 

I speak not for my own sake, but for my babies.  I am a parent who would give his life a million times if it meant saving them.  Yet her I am, unable to provide them with even the simplest things, food, water, safety, the rights that all other children around the world have as a basic right. 

My newborn son was born so small, underweight and fragile like a tiny bird after a full term pregnancy at only 1.5kg (3.5lb). I watch him fight for life, but I cannot give him the milk that he needs. My wife's body cannot produce breast milk for our baby because she does not have enough nutrients in her body. 

My wife delivered our baby son by a C-Section, with the minimum of pain relief. This left her in a very frail condition. It breaks my heart to witness her struggling with her health, while all I can do is watch her.  My daughter Hala, just two years old should be laughing and playing, instead she cries for food that I cannot provide. 

We live in a tent with no food, no clean water, no medicine and no sanitation. Disease is all around us. The unbearable heat of the summer burns their bodies, and the cold of winter freezes them. 

The atmosphere  here is filled with fear that cannot be expressed with mere words. 

As a father nothing breaks me more than seeing my babies suffer and not be able to protect them. 

This is why I am writing to you.  We are normal decent honest people, like you, who want our babies basic needs met. 

Your help is what keeps our babies alive, as I have no other way to provide for their needs. 

Your donation, no matter how small, can put food in their mouths, water in their cups, and hope in our hearts. 

Please do not let our babies be forgotten. If you are unable to give, please share our story for them, so that someone with a heart of humanity may hear it.
