Moya’s cuts her hair for the Rapunzel Foundation.
Donation protected

Hi, my name is Moya Howard, I’m six years old and I am in Senior Infants. I’ve being growing my hair since I was born with the exception of a few trims from my Gran (it’s always good to have a Gran that was a hairdresser).
My mam suggested that if I grew my hair to 14 inches long that I could donate it to the Rapunzel Foundation. This foundation makes wigs for children that lose their hair when they are sick. I thought this was a great idea so began the task of letting my hair grow (it was easy enough to do with the exception of a couple of rows with my Mam when she was trying to get the knots out of it).
My hair is now 15 inches long and myself and my Mam made an appointment in the hairdressers for the 22nd October to get my hair cut so that I can donate it to the Rapunzel foundation . With the help of my Mam and Dad I have picked two charities that I would like to donate money to. The first one is the Gary Kelly Centre which helps adults that are sick and the second is the RNLI Clogherhead Lifeboat as i spend all my summers in Clogherhead.
I would love if you could support me and donate.
Thank you.
Moya.
p.s. When my hair is cut I wouldn’t have to listen to my dad saying “when are you getting that hair cut” every five minutes.
