Mend Mowgli's Mouth!

Hello friends and animal-lovers out there!

I have set up this fundraiser to try and help my dear friend Nikki and her partner Josh raise money to help their little furball Mowgli.

You won't find two more loving and dedicated cat paw-rents than Nikki and Josh, which is why the run of awful luck they've had in the last month hurts my heart. Just one month ago, they suddenly lost their baby girl Bagheera (aka "Tiny One") when she slipped out of the apartment and got hit by a car.

Now, they've just received the news that their other cat, Mowgli, has Stomatitis - an autoimmune disease that he would have picked up/developed before Nikki adopted him from a rescue. The vet had seen some inflammation in his mouth during previous visits, but did not feel the need to assess him further, and now the disease has progressed significantly. Mowgli's body is rejecting his teeth, so some are now badly infected, and the only solution is to get all of his teeth pulled. This news is devastating for Nikki and Josh, especially so incredibly soon after losing Bagheera.

Anyone like myself who has dealt with extensive animal surgeries and vet visits in the past will know that this will not be cheap. Dental, especially, can be extremely expensive, yet this is the only way to get Mowgli back in good health and both Nikki and Josh are desperate to help their little guy.

Any contribution at all - be it a donation or sharing this fundraiser, would be so massively appreciated. There is often nothing more important to us than our animal friends, and it is extremely scary and distressing when they get sick. (As mom to the most high maintenance dog health-wise on the planet, I can relate!) Because having to deal with the situation is bad enough, any relief to this financial burden whatsoever will go a long way. Thanks for looking!
