Help Mowgli walk again

I rescued Mowgli when he was just 6 weeks old, and he’s been my best friend since. He’s now 4.5 years old, and has developed injuries which have forced me into a very difficult decision. What was once just minor ACL damage in one knee has turned into two full blown ACL tears. 

I have taken him to several vets and specialists hoping to receive a prognosis which may not require expensive surgery, but it’s unavoidable. He is now barely able to walk, and experiences terrifying pain when standing up or sitting down. Though he is on a great deal of pain medications, he is suffering tremendously.  This situation could not have come at a worse time for me, and if he does not get surgery he will have to be put down, at 4 years of age. 

Mowgli is the sweetest dog, and it’s heartbreaking to see him like this, without the ability to help him on my own. Anything anyone can do to help will be forever appreciated.
