Hi, my name is Donald Rusk. 2020 has been a brutal year for all of us, including Mowgli.Mowgli is an American Bully/ Cane Corsa mix. Basically he has the equivalent of a damaged ACL in a human. The CCL ( Cranial Cruciate Ligament) has been damaged and as you can see from the picture he cant put any weight on it. He walks on 3 legs at the moments which is obviously horrible for his hips and other knee so he needs (no pun intended) the surgery ASAP. I have him on anti-inflammatory steroids at the moment but they are only a temporary band-aid, the vet says it will only get worse and he is such a good boy it kills me to see him limping around like this. I am really not he type of person to ask for help but I have a damaged spin ( pinched nerves, bulging disks etc) myself so it has been difficult for me to work .  I am not really sure what to do anymore i feel horrible not being able to pay for his surgery myself but 500.00$ for more extensive X-rays while he is sedated + 4500.00$ for the actually surgery will crush me right now and he needs it badly.
