Mowgli is more than just our family dog—he’s a beloved companion to myself Jake, my wife Kaelianna, our two kids Hendrix (12) and Journey (9).

Recently, Mowgli faced a sudden and serious issue with his intestines that required emergency surgery. We’re still waiting for answers, as the exact condition and potentially the cause won’t be known until we receive the biopsy results. Unfortunately, we can’t review those results until we’re able to pay off the bill for his care.

Right now, Mowgli is home with us, on medication and taking it easy as he recovers. Seeing him go through this has been incredibly hard on our family, but we’re doing everything we can to keep his spirits up and make sure he gets the best chance at a full recovery. Mowgli means everything to us—he’s grown up alongside our kids and is truly part of our family.
