Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for help for my dog, Mouse.

Mouse is an older dog now, and she needs important veterinary care - blood work, heartworm testing, and dental work - to make sure she stays as healthy and comfortable as possible. These are things she truly needs right now, but the cost is more than I can handle on my own.

Mouse is so much more than a pet to me. My late husband, George, gave her to me for my birthday in 2016, and since losing him, she has become my last living connection to him. She carries a piece of him with her every single day. Taking care of her isn’t just about her health - it’s about holding onto that love, those memories, and that part of my life that means everything to me.

She has been my companion through grief, through healing, and through so many quiet moments where her presence made all the difference. The thought of not being able to give her the care she needs right now is incredibly hard.
