Help Mountain Man's recovery and rehabilitation

Last Thursday may 27th my long time best friend was stabbed in the neck & back by his now ex girlfriend. She led him to believe that they were going on a romantic evening picnic in the Silverado mountain. On the hike back down Mountain Man was leading the way through a single track trail gracefully holding hands when his (now ex) plunged a 6 inch double sided blade into the back of his neck dropping him to his hands and knees. Thinking he slipped on rocks or gravel he took a look back to see her coming in again for another deadly strike, but luckily was able to somewhat deflect the knife with his arm. Mountain Man then had to run over a half mile down mountain terrain while plugging the deep stab wound with his fingers in fear of being stabbed a third time. In one last final attempt to kill him She tried to run him down in her vehicle when she was fleeing the scene. Once he made it to a public area he was able to grab the attention of bystanders and get emergency medical transport to the nearest hospital for emergency surgery.

She has been caught and arrested after being on the run for less than 24 hours.

We seek immediate help with Mountain Man's recovery medical costs including:

-Daily professional medical attention from an on call registered nurse.
-Nursing home/hospital on the worst days.
-Special rehabilitation equipment and meds.
-Physical therapy
-Assisted medical transport to and from appointments.
