The 16u Mount Dora Baseball Allstars are a dedicated group of 12 players and 3 coaches who have worked hard all season to represent our community. This year, the team traveled to Ocala for the District Tournament, and won all 3 games they played 11-1, 17-2, and won the Championship 11-1 in 5 innings over Ocala Rotary! This win advances this great group of young Ball Players to Sarasota for the State Tournament in just a few days from June 25th to the 30th. This tournament is a huge opportunity for the players to showcase their skills and teamwork on a bigger stage.

The team had already shown their talent and determination by going undefeated in the Longwood Allstar Warm Up Tournament. They also won a scrimmage against the Winter Park Allstar Team and played two close games against the Mount Dora JV Summer Team, including a thrilling 3-2 victory in a full seven-inning match. These achievements highlight the team’s commitment and spirit, both on and off the field.

We’re raising funds to help cover the travel expenses for the whole team, including transportation, lodging, and meals. Supporting this fundraiser will help ensure that every player and coach can participate in the State Tournament without financial barriers.
