Help Mount Denali 2022 Team

We are the first all-Armenian mountaineering team attempting to summit Mount Denali. Our team will depart to Talkeetna, Alaska in May 2022 to climb the highest peak in Northern America and one of the most challenging amongst Seven Summits.
Our team consists of six climbers from Armenian Hiking Society (AHS), who are training hard to be ready before departure. Our goals are:
1) Summit Mount Denali (20,310 ft 6,190 m),
2) Raise Armenian, Artsakh, and AHS flags at the summit,
3) Tell our story with a goal of popularizing the mountaineering sport in Armenia and Armenian Diaspora,
4) Inspire and motivate the younger generation who are mountaineering and hiking enthusiasts,
5) Help to fundraise and donate a portion of the raised funds to Wounded Armenian Soldiers Fund and Armenian Children Fund,
6) Help AHS to build a strong seven-summits portfolio and high-altitude mountaineering experience,
7) Share our story and provide training to other mountaineers from AHS who would like to attempt this or other high-altitude mountaineering expeditions.

Unfortunately, Denali is also one of the top 5 most expensive summits to climb in the world. Climbing costs include mountain climbing permits, transportation and lodging expenses, guiding company fees, climbing equipment, high-altitude mountaineering gear (clothing, boots, etc.). By preliminary estimates the cost to climb Mount Denali is more than $15,000 per climber. But we will not let this hurdle to stop us from achieving our goals. That's why we're asking our friends' and well-wishers' help.
