Hello. As most know by now, this is Mott.

He belonged to an owner who let him roam around the neighborhood as he pleased. He’s a friendly guy. Sweet. But without supervision, Mott was hit by a car on Branscomb. They did not stop.

His leg was badly injured.

Knowing Mott well (from getting into my yard several times), I rescued him. The incident happened on the eve of March 27th. Mott had to spend the night in my car till I could get him to the vet the next morning.

We were lucky that WAH took him in and has been caring for him since.

Mott has 25 sutures and a couple of small fractures. He was lucky, but his recovery will be lengthy.

I have posted the vet bill, which I paid.

I have received some help from some neighbors and charities. I am paying for his meds and bandage changes ($100 each visit), which are every 4 days.

Any help would be so much appreciated!

This community has really had their share of pet problems. I have 2 rescues of my own, so I know well!
