Hello everyone,

I have had so many people reach out to me to see what they can do to help my mother financially while she recuperates. On Sunday, November 2nd, my mother and her husband were enjoying lunch at Cajun Boilers when my mother became ill. She was taken to the hospital with extremely high blood pressure and was told she'd had a stroke. She was taken to ICU for close observation. She lost feeling and movement in her right arm and leg, had trouble speaking, and remembering things.

She spent 2 days in ICU where she became stable and was moved to a regular room. Since being out of ICU, she has progressed tremendously. Currently, she is waiting for placement at a rehabilitation facility so she can get more extensive physical and speech therapy.
