Help mother with brain cancer

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am outliving my prognosis by 12 years. When my brain cancer was discovered, my children were 1 and 3 and I was told by the doctors to get everything in order because I had about six months to live. I did as I was told. I prayed to be with my babies and to let me love and know them. God granted my prayers and I am still here, but this cancer ate a golf ball-size piece of my brain, leaving me debilitated in ways that took my ability to ever teach again or even work. 4 1/2 years of chemo and a full gambit of radiation have added to disabilities I don't like to discuss. I am so grateful to be alive with my husband Dan and the kids, but I struggle getting through the day.

I am grateful to be here but sometimes I am completely overwhelmed with all life has given me: a variety of ailments resulting from treatment and meds, 12 years of charging massive medical bills on the credit card, my daughter diagnosed with autism, my car that gets me to my appointments died, and our finished basement was flooded with sewage water a few years ago, requiring us to take out a second mortgage to pay for restoring our basement. My family and I would be grateful for help for a car to take me to my appointments and to catch up with bills that will never end until I do. I am hopeful that my journey is not over, and that I will live a fulfilled life to see my kids graduate, marry, and have their own children for me to love.
