Help Mother of 2 Beat Breast Cancer

Angela Saucedo is a single mother of two beautiful daughters, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend. She has always been a hardworking woman doing her best to provide for both of her girls. She lives in Spring, Texas, with her 5-year-old daughter, a smart and witty kindergartner full of personality, and her 21-year-old daughter, who has inherited her mother’s quality of being a hard worker and is now developing skills as a caretaker in supporting her mom and helping with her little sister more during this time. Her mother has been able to live with the family temporarily as well to help despite her own medical issues. If you met her, you’d be impressed with her strength and determination to provide the best life she possibly can as a single mother for both her daughters.

She was diagnosed with Stage 2A Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma ER+ PR+ HER2- breast cancer in May 2024. In July 2024, Angela underwent a lumpectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and mastopexy; and will begin chemotherapy treatment this week in September 2024.

We are reaching out to raise essential funds to assist in covering medical care and home expenses during this time. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover all costs related to her treatments. In the short term, Angela plans to begin her chemo treatment with MD Anderson, one of the most advanced cancer centers in the nation, and is trying to educate herself on every possible treatment available for this type of cancer. Angela's unwavering determination to explore every possible avenue for healing and recovery is a testament to her resilience and fighting spirit, but these treatments are only available if funded out of pocket. Although she plans to continue working as she can because she has always been the main provider for her family, it is a scary journey which causes additional stress due to finances, and as we know, stress can negatively impact her during this battle of fighting for her own life and to continue being here for her girls!
