Hello.
We are five people choosing to go on an adventure, to help others who had one imposed upon them.
Equipped with paddles, inexperience, and gutsy determination, we will be rolling the currents of the Dordogne river in France. Unequipped, unhoused and unfed, a distant family struggles among the rubbles of the Gaza strip.
We are simply a group of people working to give love. So that some in need can receive its reverberations.
This year myself (Marc-Anthony), Luz, Dom, Paige and Alex are going to braving the waters, in canoes, over a period of three days. 70 kilometres, wild camping and the like.
There are many families residing in the Gaza strip. One particular family we have a connection with: Moataz the father, Nevin the mother and their four daughters including their newborn baby (a few weeks old, born June 6th 2025).
Their adventure is not of their choice. Currently, they live in conditions of extreme poverty, danger and famine. Moataz, the father, is starving himself so that his family may eat a little more, and yet it is not enough - Nevin has no milk to breastfeed her baby because she herself is so starved.
Through this fundraiser we hope to deliver some money to Moataz and Nevin's family so that they may be able to feed themselves, in particular the mother so that her newborn baby may survive. But no less importantly, to let them know they are not alone. That the world out there loves and cares for them.
I will be collecting these donations and sending them directly to Moataz's cousin Mohammed Qudaih, who has been passing through all funds to Moataz and his family since the war started.
Written by Moataz:
"Due to hunger, the milk stopped coming out, and my wife was no longer able to breastfeed the baby.
We haven't eaten vegetables for a long time because they are expensive.
Lentils have torn our stomachs."
''Yesterday, I found my daughter Lana eating sand. I asked her why she was doing this. She told me she was hungry and her stomach hurt from hunger. What is our fault?''
Help us raise money for food and nappies. Buying these resources is a huge challenge - depending on the political situation, a bag of flour can cost anything between 3 or 40 dollars. A tin of expired tuna recently cost them 10 dollars. The reason for this is that there are no real shops and resources are extraordinarily hard to come by.

Thank you so much. We are deeply grateful for your support. ❤️
