When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, it broke more than buildings — it broke hearts. Families were left with nothing, homes washed away, and the sound of the wind was replaced by silence and tears. Seeing my people suffer like this hit me deeply. Jamaica is more than a place to me — it’s home, it’s love, it’s family.

I’ve seen mothers trying to comfort their children with no roof over their heads, and elders holding onto faith when everything else is gone. That’s why I started this fundraiser — to help bring back hope, food, and shelter to those who need it most.
