I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend who is in a desperate situation. She is a devoted mother of five children: two of whom, a toddler and elementary schooler, belong to her current partner. She is trapped in a toxic, emotionally and financially abusive relationship. Due to financial control, she has been left with no resources of her own, making it nearly impossible for her to leave.

She is the primary caregiver for her children, but the home they live in is owned by her abusive partner. She has no affordable housing options, no savings, and nowhere to go, but she needs to get out as soon as possible for her safety and the well-being of her babies.

We are raising funds to help her secure safe housing, basic necessities, and legal support if needed. Every dollar will go directly toward helping her and her children build a new life free from fear and control.

She is genuinely an awesome, and kind human being, and an amazing mother to not only her kids, but to her students. She is an amazing and unforgettable teacher who is loved and the perfect example of a gentle parent. If she is in the room you are laughing, and her kids love her more than anything. They deserve happiness, love and safety like we all do, but I implore you to help this family of amazing people, with five kids she essentially raised on her own that adore her, and are the sweetest, most amazing and loved kids I’ve ever met because they deserve so much better. She is a good person in a very bad situation.
