Fardosa Haji Ali is living in agony as she mourns the tragic deaths of her children in two very horrific incidents. Hoyoo Fardosa was already in mourning, after the death of her elder orphaned daughters who attempted to reach the west by boat tragically losing their lives at sea, when she was hit with an even greater loss. Her 6 youngest children were at home when electric wires fell onto their makeshift home engulfing it in flames. Her eldest daughter was at home with the youngest children as their mother went off to sell tea and charcoal in the city as she is the only breadwinner of the family. Her eldest daughter tried to save her siblings (two who were special needs and paralyzed) by picking them up and carrying them on her shoulders but they fell weak due to the smoke inhalation and tragically didn’t make it out. She lost 4 young children in this house fire. Burying them was very traumatizing as she describes the horrific state of their bodies. Her eldest daughter and youngest son were the only ones that survive the fire. Her daughter suffered severe burns causing her to lose hearing in both ears.
This single mother (now in Jigjiga,Ethiopia) is living a nightmare but yet shows such patience and gratitude. She is pleading to the Muslims around the world to help her provide the basic essentials for her two surviving children. With no husband to rely on (he remarried and has a new family of his own now), after Allah we are her only hope. With the money we raise we hope to find her a safe place to live, food and funds to help with her daughters medical treatment.
When I saw this video I could not ignore her pleas. It’s gut wrenching to watch but necessary to see exactly the dire state our sister is in. As if she hadn't suffered enough, she is battling her own health issues as she lives with only one kidney (as well as blood pressure and sugar issues).
Brothers and sisters, let us come together in this blessed month in hopes of easing this mother’s hardship.
Remember charity is multiplied for you in this blessed month and it will never decrease you in wealth!
JazkAllah Khair for your support! I will provide updates periodically and video proof of all the funds reaching our dear sister Fardosa Haji Ali. May Allah fill her heart with ease and tranquility and reward her without measure for the tragedies she has endured with such patience. May Allah reunite her with her beautiful children in the highest of Jannah. Ameen

Edit to add: My name is Ayan Yonis and I currently live in the U.S. There is no blood relation between myself and Hoyoo Fardosa. I started this campaign after seeing her plea for help. The funds will be spent on permanent accommodation and medical treatment. If any funds remain it will be spent organizing a small business to help sustain her cost of living. Once we reach our goal of $20,000 we will send it via world remit money transfer.
