Help Mostin Williams Attend His Mother’s Funeral in St. Croix, USVI
Mostin Williams, a proud military veteran and beloved brother, faces an unimaginable challenge: attending his mother Ruth Christine Williams’ funeral in St. Croix after her passing on July 26, 2025. Paralyzed in a 2006 car accident and now confined to an electric wheelchair, because of specific medical conditions, location, and logistics, it is extremely difficult for him to travel on commercial flights.
Ruth was Mostin’s rock—raising him with unwavering love and later leaving her life in St. Croix to become his full-time caregiver in Tampa for over 11 years. When dementia took her ability to care for him, she returned home, where she passed away surrounded by family. Now, Mostin longs to say goodbye, but the cost of a medically equipped charter flight—just one of his preferred options with accompanied caregivers and helpers—is far beyond his means.
As a non-service connected veteran who served our country, Mostin deserves this opportunity to honor the woman who sacrificed everything for him. We're raising $10,000 to cover the costs of an accessible flight, transportation for his specialized wheelchair, and an accompanying helper to ensure his safety.
Every donation, regardless of size, brings Mostin closer to paying his final respects to his mother. Your support will mean the world to our family as we celebrate Ruth’s life in the community she loved. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. If the goal is not met on time all proceeds will be refunded.
