Help Mossy Rebuild After a Devastating Accident:

Our dear friend Mossy Matriarch: a single mom, community builder, and lifelong activist was recently in a serious car accident while driving cross-country to meet grassroots movement leaders and do a photo shoot for her community.

Mossy has spent over 10 years serving her community, building networks of care and support for those who have no safety net. She’s been the person showing up for everyone else, organizing food and housing aid, uplifting others through her platform, and creating opportunities for collective healing and empowerment.

But now, she needs our help.

On her journey, Mossy’s car was completely totaled, and the trailer she was traveling in was destroyed, along with nearly all of her personal belongings. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and though she’s thankfully alive, she’s now facing medical expenses, loss of transportation, and the impossible task of trying to rebuild from scratch.

To make matters worse, after the accident, the sheriff issued her a ticket, adding even more financial strain to an already devastating situation. Mossy’s insurance won’t cover everything, and she hasn’t even seen the full scope of her medical bills yet.

Mossy is not just surviving for herself, she’s also the backbone of multiple community projects and small businesses that provide income to others. She’s doing everything she can to stay afloat, but this accident has put her in an incredibly difficult position.

She’s a disabled, single mother who has already overcome so much. She has had to rebuild her life and has dedicated herself to helping others do the same. Now, she needs that same love and support returned to her.
