Help Moses Recover from Transverse Myelitis

My dear long time friend, Shanna, has been coping with an unexpected difficulty this year as her youngest son, Moses, suffered from an onset of transverse myelitis.  Moses went hiking with his older brothers earlier this year and came home feeling weak.  Within less than 24 hours he lost the ability to move his body and vomited and aspirated.  After several weeks of trying to diagnose him and help him breathe on his own again, he continues to be partially paralyzed.  He needs extensive rehabilitation and care at home.  His mother is having to leave her career to care for him which is an additional financial burden on their family. She does not have the means to transport his electric wheelchair to and from school.  They need help covering the costs of his home health needs and making their home more accessible to him now that he's in a wheelchair.  I am hoping that by creating this fundraiser, we can help offset some of the burden of cost for my friend's family.  Please consider donating.
