Hi Everyone,

My Name is Mo El Kadey, the Founder of “Mo’s Lounge”. This campaign is to raise £5900.00 to re-open Mo’s Lounge at Stella Dore Gallery on Norman Road in St Leonards from the end of May 2024 for the summer and beyond. 

If you didn’t have the joy of attending “Mo’s Lounge” when it originally opened at St Andrews Mews Hastings, it’s purpose is to be an artist hub/bar providing creatives in St Leonards and Hastings with a platform to get their voices heard and patrons a space to immerse themselves in this creative space whilst enjoying their choice of beverage. 

As mentioned above, “Mo’s Lounge” was open at St Andrews Mews Hastings from January 2024 until the Easter weekend. We were progressing really well with the business but sadly we had to abruptly leave the Mews following a break-in at the Mews that meant the venue was no longer workable for us. 

Focusing on the future, by raising the funds via this campaign we can continue the momentum we had and meet our purpose., hopefully as the weather starts to warm up, once again having a creative and welcoming space for artists and patrons to socialise.
