Help Moroccan Students Get to School – Fund Transportation
Donation protected
The Moroccan-American Atlas Foundation is launching an initiative to support students in Morocco for the 2025–2026 school year by fully covering school transportation fees. Our goal is to raise between $6,000 and $10,000 (approximately 55,000–95,000 Dirhams), which will help reduce dropout rates, encourage continued learning, and ease the financial burden on struggling families. The cost of transportation varies by region, ranging from $80 to $124 per student per year.
This initiative prioritizes students who are orphaned, have special needs, or come from low-income families—especially those living far from school and who depend on transportation to access education. By alleviating this financial pressure, we aim to bring hope and comfort to both students and their families at the start of the school year.
We are inviting contributions from individuals, organizations, and anyone who believes in the power of education. Donors can also choose to "adopt a scholarship" by fully covering the cost of one student’s transportation for the year. As a token of appreciation, the Atlas Foundation will offer a symbolic gift to each scholarship donor.
Funding will also be supported through profits from the sale of branded merchandise—such as phone cases, bags, and pillows—featuring the AMAN Association logo on Amazon. All proceeds will go directly toward the initiative.
This effort is focused on Moroccan regions with a high percentage of students facing transportation challenges, particularly in areas like Beni Mellal-Khenifra and Draa-Tafilalet. With your support, we can help remove barriers to education and make a lasting impact in the lives of these students.
