Help Morgan With Trigeminal Neuralgia Treatment
Donation protected
On Christmas Eve we rushed my wife, Morgan to Ascension's Emergency room due to her experiencing level 10 pain in her face. After further investigation, she has been diagnosed with type 2 Trigeminal Neuralgia, a syndrome related to the trigeminal nerve and characterized by severe episodes of unilateral facial pain. She is in extreme pain every minute of every day.
In order to get the care that we need, we are having to pay for everything out of pocket, because we do not have health insurance.
We have run out of funds to treat her any further and her condition continues to progressively get worse.
She is unable to work with the pain she experiences, and I have been unable to leave her side as the pain is too strong to handle alone, which has left both of us unable to pay our bills and desperate.
We are hoping for enough financial resources to pay for any MRI, medication, doctor's appointments with a neurologist, and potential Gamma Knife Radiosurgery if her condition is not aided by medication.
Morgan has been given Prednisone, Hydrocodone, and Tegratol to hopefully combat the pain, but nothing has worked so far.
We are praying every day for a full recovery and treatment of this condition, and hope that together we can help her find relief through proper care of a neurologist and neurosurgery.
Please donate, pray, and help us in this time of desperation.
