In August 2021 my best friend was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer at the young age of 34. She had a a single mastectomy on October 5th that was successful in treating the breast cancer. That was just the beginning of this unfortunate journey. Yesterday we were informed that the cancer is in 2 out of her 4 lymph nodes that were biopsied. They completed a PET scan that showed the cancer has spread to her bone, specifically her pelvis. She will now have to endure the most aggressive chemotherapy, “The Red Devil”, for the next 4 months. She has two little boys at home, ages 1 and 2 whom are her world. The next few months are not only going to be physically hard for her and her family but financially as well. She will also need to hire a nanny to stay home with the kids to minimize outside contact as her immune system will be very poor. This family is going to be going through some of the toughest times over the next few months and with the holidays approaching I would like to give them some type of relief financially and mentally.  Morgan is one of the most outgoing, loving, bubbly person you will ever meet and it hurts knowing that I am all the way in California and unable to be their physically for her.
