Hi I am Karen Clark, Morgan’s mom.

Our beloved Morgan, a vibrant 32‑year‑old with so much life ahead of her, has recently faced a devastating and unexplained health crisis that has left her unable to walk. She is experiencing additional alarming symptoms, and even the specialists at Cedars‑Sinai—one of the top hospitals in the country—have been unable to determine the cause or provide effective treatment. Her muscles are rapidly breaking down, and doctors still cannot explain why.

Morgan has now been in the hospital for 56 days. She is expected to be discharged any day—not because she is better, but because there is nothing more the hospital can do for her at this time. Once she returns home, she will require daily care, hands‑on support, and specialized assistance to meet even her basic needs.

This is not the first time Morgan has faced the unimaginable. At just 20 years old, during her first year of college, she was struck by a rare disease that caused legal blindness and years of physical challenges. After more than a decade of fighting her way back toward stability, she is now facing another life‑altering medical mystery without warning and without answers.

This sudden event has left her facing overwhelming challenges—physically, emotionally, and financially. Despite these obstacles, Morgan is doing everything she can to work with physical therapy in hopes of walking again.

She will now require extensive support to meet her daily needs, including:

• Ongoing health care and rehabilitation

• Home modifications to make her space accessible

• A wheelchair and other assistive technology to restore independence

• Specialized equipment to help her live with dignity and comfort

As her family, we are deeply concerned and committed to standing by her. Unfortunately, we do not have the financial means to provide the level of care and resources she urgently needs. That’s why we are reaching out to our wider community for help.
