Help Morgan and Skyler Overcome Car Woes

UPDATE!! In an AMAZING turn of events, Morgan was blessed with $1,000 towards her rent which will open up that amount towards her car repair from her upcoming check!! This leaves us with only $800 to raise! What an absolute Christmas miracle!! Please help if you can and sharing it helps as well! I made this to help my friend and coworker, Morgan. Her car and only means of transportation broke down last week. I was able to get it towed to my friend’s shop where he has determined what’s going on with it and what it needs minimally to safely get her back on the road. It is quite a list and thankfully he is giving her a nice discount because he’s my friend and a really good person.

LIST OF REPAIRS NEEDED:

Timing kit

Lower timing cover

Driver side lower control arm and ball joints

Passenger side lower control arm and ball joints

Water pump

Thermostat

And all new fluids

Needs a new harmonic balancer.

Total with parts and labor $1,800.

Morgan is a single momma to the sweetest 6 year old son named Skyler. Morgan works multiple jobs just to make ends meet and most of the time, it’s not enough to make all ends meet and she has to choose between bills, paying xy & z this month and the others the next month plus late fees. Last week her internet and phone got shut off. Christmas is in a few short days and then rent again a few days later. To put it lightly, she is drowning. Without her car, she can’t go to all of her jobs which means income is less which means all of the above will be more pronounced and stressful. SHE JUST NEEDS A LITTLE HELP!

Morgan is the most amazing, fun, sweet, kind and giving soul. This has made her feel completely helpless. Please help her get back on the road so she can get back to helping others as she does in her role as a peer suppprt specialist. Even people who support others need a little support sometimes too.
